Emmy Awards 2024, trionfa Shōgun che conquista 18 premi. Tutti i vincitori e i look della serata

Ieri sera, al Peacock Theatre di Los Angeles, si è svolta la 76esima cerimonia di premiazione degli Oscar della tv, gli Emmy Awards, che hanno visto alla conduzione il duo comico composto da Dan e Eugene Levy.

La manifestazione si è svolta a distanza di pochi mesi dall’edizione del 2023, che si è tenuta in via del tutto eccezionale a gennaio di quest’anno a causa dello sciopero degli sceneggiatori e ha premiato gli show televisivi che hanno mandato in onda almeno sei episodi tra giugno 2023 e maggio 2024.

A trionfare sono stati Hacks, Shōgun e Baby Reindeer. In particolar modo a fare incetta di premi è stato Shōgun, che ha ottenuto ben 18 riconoscimenti di 25 candidature. La serie, disponibile su Disney +, è ambientata nel Giappone del 1600, in un momento cruciale per la storia del Paese, ovvero l’inizio della guerra civile, che ha cambiato il corso di un intero secolo.

Per quanto riguarda la miglior commedia, invece, a trionfare è stata Hacks, composta da tre stagioni. La serie affianca due comicità differenti, legate a due donne completamente diverse: la prima, Deborah Vance, è una donna in carriera, residence di un famoso casinò, mentre la seconda, Ava, è una giovane autrice caduta in disgrazia a causa di un controverso tweet su un politico.
